Picnik Over-kill and Possible Self-Obsession

Today I gave in to my own vanity and picniked the morning away. Hooray for wasting time!
Enjoy!

I'm A Barbie Girl

Straight Up Jeffrey Dahmer style. It's almost cute.. in a twisted homicidal way.
Clever though, yeah?

New Year's Resolution(s)

I'll be honest, I've never made a New Year's Resolution that I've followed through on before, so I thought that maybe if I blogged about it, I might keep up with it? I don't know, it's worth giving a shot I guess. Especially because I'm shooting for more than one this year.

So here are my Resolutions :

(1) Lose 10 lbs and keep it off (shocking, I know.)

Now before anyone out there get's all bent out of shape about this, let me explain. I know I'm not fat, so please don't remind me. It's only 10 lbs... for the whole year, so relax. I want to use this year as an opportunity to start eating better and getting into shape, because while I look just fine right now, I could always look (and feel) better. It's more than just losing weight, I want to take this opportunity to sort of, re-invent myself. I want to look more well kept, and like I actually care about my appearence.

(2) Stop running away from my problems.

Something I've recently had to come to terms with is that I have almost a complete inability to face my problems head-on. I am what you would call "a runner." I've really screwed a lot of people (including myself) over because of my inability to just face my demons and get it over with, and that is something that definitely needs to change this year.

(3) Get a job.

I mean is speaks for itself, right? I like to buy things and I'm gonna need an income to be able to do that, hence, job. Plus it'll stop me from lazing away on my boyfriend's couch all day and night.

So those are the resolutions, I'll further elaborate on how I plan to go about each one in my next post, but currently my mother is waiting on me and is getting a little impatient.

A Children's Book Every Child Should Read

I actually never read this book as a child but I was a nanny this previous summer and the one year old I took care of LOVED this book and so did I. It's a cute story about a little gorilla who is loved by everyone in the jungle. It's just too cute and I will absolutely read it to my children.

My Superstition

There's really only one thing I'm superstitious about... railroad tracks. Whenever I drive over railroad tracks I lift up my feet! Tahaha
